Beth Moore has seen her share of criticism from her own tribe for speaking out against some sinful behavior of leadership along being compelled to point to a somewhat hidden part of the evangelical culture. Beth is a best-selling Christian author and Bible teacher from just outside of Houston, Texas. She is the founder of Living Proof Ministries which is a Bible-based organization focused on encouraging women to come to know and love Jesus Christ through the study of Scripture.We discuss with her how her home was not her safe place growing up, the story of her shock when her pastor first asked her to teach at the church, her deep examination of what the scriptures say on women’s role in ministry, and how she’s dealt with the sharp criticism she’s received from her own tribe.
